As part of an office relocation, Mitsubishi Corporation India’s office functions that were previously spread across multiple floors were consolidated into one, improving communication and operational efficiency among employees.
This project was carried out with the support of KDDI in an integrated, end-to-end manner and included a simple, calm design befitting a Japanese company and measures for India-specific air pollution issues. These efforts contributed to a smooth relocation and the creation of a comfortable office environment.
Customer Challenges
Work areas, meeting rooms, and shared spaces had been spread across floors, creating challenges in movement efficiency and communication. It was also necessary to address India-specific issues such as air pollution and unevenness in equipment quality, as well as to coordinate work with construction of the new office building.

Efficiency through single-floor consolidation
The layout was tailored to a single-floor, enabling easy movement, communication and improved operational efficiency.
Aesthetics combined with functionality
KDDI designed a simple, unified space with calm color tones. Air filters were installed in the air-conditioning ducts to address environmental challenges.
A one-stop, flexible solution adapted to site conditions
KDDI also handled coordination with building construction, ensuring Quality through check and corrections from a Japanese perspective.

Efficient traffic flow to meeting rooms and shared spaces and a highly visible space using glass partitions create an environment that facilitates smooth communication and improves operational efficiency.
Conference Room
Multiple meeting rooms, including a dignified boardroom. Smart lighting that automatically adjusts brightness according to usage and the latest AV systems provide a comfortable and functional setting for smooth proceedings, active discussion, and effective decision-making.
Cafeteria
Combining the warmth of wood tones and calm colors, the cafeteria was designed for both breaks and cross-department interaction.
